Contribution

VuForce is a mobile ANPR enforcement system equipped with 20 ANPR cameras. It is designed for streamlined parking rights enforcement, automatically identifying violations like non-payment, illegal parking, and more. The system enhances enforcement efficiency through automated monitoring and subsequent back-end data
examination.
I have developed the concept, industrial design, and design engineering aspects of this product. I particularly focused on meticulously refining the design to create a manufacturable CAD data. Additionally, the shell design has been crafted to comply with IP69 standards.

Formal Explorations

I initiated the design process by experimenting with various forms. Given that the product will be utilized on a vehicle, it was essential for the design to align with the contours of automotive structures. Exploring different shapes ensured that the final design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also optimally compatible with the specific requirements of being mounted on a vehicle.

Prototyping

The design’s prototype was 3D printed in four separate parts using a 3D printer. Subsequently, these components were assembled, followed by a process of polishing and painting. The initial prototype was then created by combining these finished external elements with the internal components.
